The perfect theme for a 4 year old's birthday. No detail was escaped with PONI providing hand crafted decor including the Lego banner complete with official Lego font and giant bigger than life legos.
Of course the little guests needed an opportunity to make art and the Lego DIY superhero masks were a big hit! Equally popular were the DIY Lego necklaces where some serious fashions statements were made.
Cuteness overload indeed!
Do you think sometimes life just smiles on you?!?!? I had the most AMAZING opportunity to create decorations and craft activities for possibly the cutest-one-year-old-ever. EVER! With a theme of Rose´& Cupcakes I had much fun. Why not make GIANT flowers to celebrate this cutie and a floral explosion for the dining room table. Certainly not complete without rose gold floral crowns that were available as customizable DIY for guest to create and wear.
I have always loved Easter and not just because you can once again wear white shoes. The colors, the arrival of spring, the decorations….and growing up, I always got a new dress for Easter. What is not to love?
Love these super easy Egghead Cuties created with just a sharpie and some eggs from my local farmer’s market. I have big plans for them that include but are not limited too inevitable consumption. You know what they say, an egg a day!
Now back to those plans.....Feeling particularly springy this dapper family, the Eggmens, was inspired by Humpty Dumpty. Armed with only scissors, colored paper, and a glue stick I WENT TO TOWN!
But wait, there's more.....these little birdies do double duty serving up serious cuteness as well as opening up to hold yummy Easter treats! Chicks Rule!
Just a little paper crafting, glue stick and creativity involved….oh and of course, candy influenced inspiration!
Kids love legos; kids love to create! And apparently have quite the sense of style. This easy craft activity keeps the small ones happy and having fun so the big ones can do the same!
Sure Halloween is all about frights and screams but when you have little ones, maybe you don't want them to be so freaked out they can't eat their candy or worse, not sleep!
PONI is here to prove that Halloween can be cute and unique! For this client I filled the front yard with ghosts, think Casper more than Poltergeist. And then filled every nook and cranny plus the gorgeous dining room table with super animate painted pumpkins.
Not to be forgotten, of course there had to be costumes and working with the theme "From the Garden" crafted the cutest Head of Lettuce and Sweet Pea Flower for the adorable and willing 3 years old and 9 month old.
Who could not love this holiday with such frivolity?!?!
Poni's mission is to provide people the opportunity to put their creativity to use and have the chance to use their hands! It is also about having conversations, laughing, learning from other's ideas, and stepping away from the screens that dominate our lives. Creativity and making is Poni's passion; we seek to share this with others.
We will be occasionally hosting a series of Rose´& Play; a Babe's Night of Crafting which brings together ladies for a fun night of creativity and bonding. The inaugural Rose´& Play was hosted by the lovely & talented Janine Awan at her beautiful Woodcat Coffee shop in Echo Park. (note, if you haven't been to Woodcat, go now!).
12 lovely ladies crafted, laughed, told stories, told jokes, shared their art and left with great memories plus their own work of art. The craft of the nightwere faux leather hanging cactus planters embellished with hand stamped designs. Guests also were encouraged to make their own cards with their stamps. Safe to say, all went home feeling a little rosy.
Want to host your own? Contact Poni and let's begin a discussion of about crafting memorable and fulfilling event specialized to meet you needs. An event that, I promise, all will leave with smiles and a sense of accomplishment.
Such fond memories of leaving May Day baskets on the steps of my BFFs, ringing the doorbell and running like mad! Revisiting this happiness I created some new, easy, DIY May Day baskets! To avoid the sugar overload and keep it creative, I filled these new friends with DIY felt finger puppets. If these don't make you smile you need to check your pulse.
